Ok so what's the deal now with Kaladesh?

I never was invested that much in Kaladesh but I am really curious now. I know it got renamed to Avishkar and I even know why. I like both names. But what's now the deal with Kaladesh? It's now a different plane? Wizards say it is the same plane but with a different name. And I am okay with that but what's the lore reason? For example we had Mirrodin, right? After Phyrexia attacked and conquered Mirrodin it became New Phyrexia. That was a lore reason why a name changed. So what's the deal with Kaladesh? Is there some new political power that decided to rename the plane? Or was there some event that triggered the change? Because lore is important to me and if there isn't a lore reason and it's only because of our real world, it's stupid change. Because I play Magic to escape reality not to be reminded that everything sucks and everybody is offended.

Ok so what's the deal with Necromancer?

Loved it in D3, wanted to try it out after getting a Rogue to 60 but EVERYWHERE I look on Youtube or here everyone says Necro is ok, but just not nearly as good as all the other classes (a lot saying it's straight up bad) and to pretty much get the best out of it you have to lock-in a super tight one trick build.
Obviously I know I can get through the game with the Necro but is it really THAT underwhelming? Playing Rogue on the highest WT possible made the game feel easy and fun I was so overpowered, class is really strong. Is Necro going to bore me by how "meh" it's being received in the community?
Might go sorcerer than.
Top Comment: Its the slowest class out of the classes no movement skills. Best build is the bone spear necro that doesnt run any minions and no cc break skills compared to other classes.
